This page explains, plainly, what mikerowesoft.net collects and why. Last updated September 2026.
Every page load is checked against your IP address to decide whether to count it as a new hit. To do this, your IP address and the time of your visit are stored temporarily on the server, and automatically deleted after 7 days. This is used only to stop a single visitor from inflating the counter by refreshing the page repeatedly — it is not linked to any identity, not shared with anyone, and not used for tracking or advertising.
If you sign the guestbook, the name and message you enter are stored on the server and displayed publicly on this site to other visitors. Don't include anything in a guestbook entry you wouldn't want made public. Entries are kept indefinitely, up to the most recent 500 signatures — older entries are removed automatically to keep the list manageable. We don't collect an email address, password, or any other identifying information through the guestbook.
The Signal Desk page shows the results of an automated daily job that fetches public stock price data from a third-party market data provider (Alpha Vantage) for a fixed watchlist of tickers, computes standard technical indicators from it, and republishes the results here. No visitor data is involved in this process — it runs on a schedule regardless of who's viewing the page. See the disclaimer on that page for what the results do and don't mean.
The EXIF Viewer tool processes photos entirely inside your own browser using JavaScript. When you drop in or select a photo, it is never uploaded to this server, never stored, and never seen by anyone but you — the metadata is read and displayed locally on your device only.
This site does not currently use cookies, analytics, or advertising of any kind. If that changes in the future — for example, by adding an ad network or analytics service — this policy will be updated first to disclose exactly what's added and what data it collects.
